In Vectro Blast, you find yourself in a space arena where enemies come in waves. At first, the action may seem calmer, but soon the game kicks into high gear. Each new wave brings more enemies and a faster pace, making Vectro Blast a challenging bullet-hell shooter that will keep you breathless.
The game boasts a clean and clear graphic style, where enemy ships and your own machine represent simple geometric shapes. Thanks to this minimalist aesthetic, you can fully focus on the frenetic action without being distracted by complex visuals. Every shot and every movement has its own clear meaning.
Each enemy leaves Tokens that you can collect and then use to upgrade your spaceship. Improve your firepower, increase your health or strengthen your shields - each upgrade will give you an advantage in the tough battles that await you. In addition, you can collect Power-ups that temporarily grant you special abilities, such as invincibility or enhanced weapons. These power-ups can be the deciding factor in surviving a barrage of enemies.
Every 10 waves, get ready for a real challenge - a boss fight. These powerful opponents are much more dangerous than regular enemies, have multiple attack phases and are able to destroy you in the blink of an eye. However, when you win, valuable rewards await you that will help you in the next waves.
The goal of the game is a simple but addictive task - to achieve the highest possible score. In each new wave, more challenging and faster enemies await you, which increases your chances of breaking your own records. Vectro Blast was created as our tribute to classic arcade shooters. We wanted to capture the joy of the endless battle for the score that these games brought, and add modern elements such as minimalist graphics and frenetic action. Game development was fast and intense โ we transformed our idea into a final product within a few months.
The game became a great exercise in game design and development for us. It was important to keep players engaged with a simple but catchy concept. That's why we added ship upgrade systems, power-up collection, and boss battles to add more depth and challenge to the game.
Vectro Blast is our first step on the way to bigger projects. Through this project, we discovered our passion for creating games and gained valuable experience that we are now applying to the development of other titles.
